| 4/15: Tea with the Tigers: Powerpoint Presentation |
| 4/8 Boundary Map: We have gotten a lot of questions regarding whether or not there is a map showing the boundaries and/or neighborhoods that filter into Wiesbrook. click here to see the picture |
| The map's picture is extremely large, so it may take a moment for your computer to display it (please be patient). The map is enlarged extnesively so you may read the roads and subdivisions that filter into Wiesbrook. |
| 4/7: Subdivision Identifiers This is a list of all of the subdivisions that filter into Wiebrook. The list came from District 200. Find it here. |
| 3/26: Transition Letter to Lowell Parents from Dr. Turyna & PTA President June Keeley. click here (In PDF Form) |
| An excerpt from the monthly Principal's Letter located in the PTA Newsletterfor April: |
On February 26, the Board of Education unanimously voted to pass the Lowell Re-districting proposal. Under this proposal students from the Briarcliffe North and South subdivisions will attend Wiesbrook beginning next year unless they choose the “grandfather” option and stay at Lowell Elementary School. All incoming kindergartners in these subdivisions must attend Wiesbrook beginning next year. Hence, I have put together a Redistricting Committee. The committee is composed of current Wiesbrook parents, students, teachers and Lowell parents who have a child transitioning to Wiesbrook next year. The purpose of this committee is to determine the scope and nature of the transition activities that will take place on April 15 and April 25. |
On April 15, Wiesbrook will host “Tea with the Tigers” at 7pm in the library. This program is for parents to begin to learn about life at Wiesbrook Elementary School through the eyes of current parents, students and teachers. Next, Wiesbrook will host a student visitation day on April 25 at 10 am. This day will be a “step-over” day for students to visit Wiesbrook classes, tour the school and meet teachers and students. D200 will provide a bus which will transport students between Lowell and Wiesbrook. |
